Butterfly Valves are used for flow control of powder and granular materials that can flow by own weight. They are usually placed at input and outputs of equipments like stock silo, bunker, flow chute and conveyor mixers. Butterfly valves have a circular disk capable of 90° rotation.
Butterfly valves are also used at gas pipes for flow control.
