Compensators are used in pipelines for the purposes of either expansion part or vibration absorber.
Function of compensators as expansion part is solving thermal expansion problems of pipelines. Tension caused of thermal expansion of pipeline is compensated by ondulation. Ondulation part of compensators must be designed both flexible enough to compensate thermal expansions and be resistant enough against pressure-temperature and fluid conditions.
