Slide gates have become ideal equipment for blocking feed of powder and granular materials in feeding and moving applications by gravity. Slide gates can be placed to a bunker or silo exit, input or output of mechanical conveyors and telescopic loading chutes. Sliding plate residing inside valve body allows block , partial flow and full flow of material.
Slide gates mounted to equipments like stock silo, bunker, flow chute and conveyors control flow of free fall materials. Slide gates mounted to pneumatic transfer lines allows flow control and tightness of material carried under pressure or vacuum.
